Fresh, garden tomatoes and homemade salsa just scream summertime to me. Well, salsa screams fall, winter, and spring to me as well….I can’t get enough of it. And, because I eat gallons of salsa, I wanted to create a simple and scrumptious way to turn whip up some flavorful homemade salsa anytime I so desire. Because nothing tastes as good as homemade salsa. The jarred stuff just can’t compare. I’m telling you, this is such an easy recipe. Throw it in the blender, pulse, and you’re done. Anyone can do this. Just be warned, you may become a salsa addict like me and be looking for ways to incorporate it into everything you eat. (Which is totally possible to do, in case you were wondering.)
Easy Homemade Salsa
This is such a quick and easy way to get the fresh taste of homemade salsa. You can easily adjust the spice level by adding less or more jalepenos. This keeps in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
- 6 Roma tomatoes
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 white onion, cut into chunks
- 1 jalepeno, seeded and diced
Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until you reach the desired consistency. Do not overmix, leave chunky.
